My name is Kathleen Hayden (AKA The FUN Organizer!) and I am the happy owner of Dream Space S.O.S. Est. January 2010. I am an Award-Winning Professional Organizer, Home Stager, Re-Designer, Public Speaker and Author. In June 2020, I wrote and illustrated my first children’s book called The Adventures of Princess Katie – Putting Things Back. The story and activity book helps parents teach their kids how to be organized for life.
I bring fun and motivation to de-cluttering and organizing your home and office. In my opinion, the messier the better! I honestly enjoy tackling those piles of clutter! That’s why I have turned my love for de-cluttering and organizing into a fulfilling career!
I assist people just like you from the GTA, Kingston, Bowmanville and Ottawa Ontario and as far as British Columbia! They include professionals, families, people that are re-locating and seniors that are downsizing. I help you have less stress for better mental health. I help you save time to do the things you want or need to do, and money by not having to purchase the same items repeatedly because you can’t find what you are looking for.
I believe it is important for you to know that Dream Space S.O.S. is built on passion and discretion. This is what I love to do and I am here to help. Not judge. Let me help you create your ‘Dream Space’! You too can feel the immediate benefits of better mental health that stress and anxiety, due to clutter, can have in your daily life.
Taking it to the next level
In December of 2013, I took my business to the next level by going back to school for Staging and Re-Design. If you are looking to sell your home in the near future, I will provide you with a detailed consultation and help you get ready for maximum dollar. If you are looking at updating your current home with colour, furniture or even proper layout in each room for ease, I can make that happen for you too!
Giving back
There are a lot of different causes in the world that need our assistance. That is why I am proud to say that I donate to The Canadian Diabetes Association. I’ve chosen this charity because I have family members and friends that suffer from this disease and it is therefore close to my heart. Did you know that approximately 3 million Canadians suffer from diabetes? Perhaps one day, diabetes will be a thing of the past. For more information on the Canadian Diabetes Association please visit: www.diabetes.ca.

An oldie but a goodie! This interview was taken years ago but it may help you better understand the connection between clutter and anxiety. Click on this link to view my interview on CHCH with a de-cluttered client and the Executive Director of the Canadian Diabetes Association:

Be ‘Green’
I believe in being ‘Green’. Dream Space S.O.S. is committed to reducing, recycling, and reusing. We can do simple things like recycling in your blue bin, donating your unwanted items and reusing existing organizational tools. For more information and tips on recycling visit: www.hamilton.ca.
